Despite caring for a seriously ill child, and coping with the
stress and worry which goes with it, Tracey Simpson has also taken
it upon herself to fund-raise for a cause that supports her family.
The 36-year-old's second youngest son William, aged two, has a
rare heart condition called Mitral Valve Stenosis. He has already
had to endure a number of operations and is soon due to go on the
list for a heart transplant.
As a result, Tracey has given up work as a warehouse operative to
look after him but still finds time to help Caudwell Children.
The Stoke-based charity provides treatment, therapy and
specialist equipment to sick and disabled youngsters throughout the
