A team of Royal Marines musicians were greeted with a fanfare
reception as they arrived in Cornwall after a 390-mile cycle ride in
honour of two colleagues.
The 15-strong team, named "Bandies On Bikes", are raising money
in memory of Major John Kelly and Band Corporal Andy Thomson, who
were both members of the Royal Marines Band based at the Commando
Training Centre, Lympstone.
Major Kelly died aged 46 from a rare neurological disease and B
Cpl Thomson lost his fight against skin cancer aged 34. Both died
last year.
