Good food and a convivial atmosphere have served Moraga's Amoroma Ristorante well for the past six years. Now Michele (pronounced Mi- KAY-lee) Lavecchia, who owns the restaurant with Hafiz Haidari and Noe Castro, is hoping the crowds will also be drawn to their new endeavor, Pizzeria Amoroma, which opened in Orinda last week.

Just up the street from the historic Orinda Theatre (and right next to Peet's Coffee), the pizzeria will be more casual than the Moraga restaurant.
