Pathways group planning to extend Riverway west to Glencoe Museum

About 20 people met Wednesday night to discuss the future of bike paths and sidewalks in the city

The group, consisting of members of Pathways for Radford and city officials, agreed that expanding Radford's Riverway west from Bisset Park to the Glencoe Museum and expanding bike paths and sidewalks along Second Street are Pathway's top priorities for the next year.

Pathways for Radford is a non profit citizen's group that promotes bikeways, walkways and Trails for Radford and the New River Valley.

Blacksburg restaurant plans to close its doors later this month unless a buyer can be found
