Background
The Naked Grape opened in Sewickley two months ago. It's a
takeoff on a wine-and-tapas theme, with a Tuscan twist.
Owners David Jungling and Ryta Mirisciotti-Jungling polished the
tiny triangular space that previously housed a parcel depot to a
high luster before opening their wine bistro.
Wine is king here. Mirisciotti-Jungling, who worked in the wine
industry for eight years and planned and supervised in-home wine
tastings for clients, wanted to ensure the experience at the bistro
would revolve around vino. So, although the Naked Grape serves after-
dinner cordials and scotch, cocktails and beer are not served here.
