Article: Woman sues CollectionCenter Wyoming ; A local woman filed a civil lawsuit in Laramie County District Court, alleging CollectionCenter Wyoming violated the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Dawn M. Edwards contended the collection agency included information in court filings that could lead to identity theft and attempted to collect debt from her after the claim was adjudicated in court, according to court documents.

CHEYENNE - A local woman has filed a class-action complaint in
district court against a Rawlins debt collector, alleging the
company violated federal law.
Dawn M. Edwards of Cheyenne alleged in court documents that
CollectionCenter Wyoming included information in court filings that
could lead to identity theft.
"Social Security numbers are private identifying information
subject to safeguarding and regulation to prevent identity theft or
other acts from the disclosure of such private identifying
information," the lawsuit said.
Edwards also contended the collection agency sent her collection
notices after a judgment was ordered in Laramie County ...
