Joseph Di Liberti

Joseph Di Liberti, 87, of Severna Park, died May 23.

He was born July 18, 1921, in Secaucus, N.J.

He graduated with a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Newark College of Engineering. He also attended Seton Hall School of Law.

His career in research spanned from the 1950s employed at U.S. Testing, as a regional sales manager for Fedders Corp, the Navy at Brooklyn, N.Y., research lab, and the David Taylor Research Lab in Annapolis until his retirement in 1984.

He served in the Army at the rank of corporal during World War II as a flight simulator pilot trainer.
