MAJOR steel company Eterniti Steels is to establish a production
facility and depot at Mossend in Lanarkshire.
Yorkshire-headquartered Eterniti, the UK's largest independent
sheet and plate stockholding company, has signed a three-year deal
with Edinburgh-based property development firm Almondale Investments
to take 30,000sqft of factory accommodation plus one acre of storage
land at Europark Industrial Estate. The site is opposite the former
Corus service centre and plate profiling mill which closed recently
with the loss of more than 70 jobs. Eterniti is currently based at
Loanhead, near Edinburgh.
