William H. Kloidt, Sr., of Columbia, PA, died peacefully on
Wednesday, May 27, 2009, in his 83rd year.
Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Charles and Rosemary
Garnich Kloidt. Married to Betty Prugar Kloidt, the couple would
have celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on June 17.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, William H. Jr.,
husband of Donna Cremer Kloidt; a daughter, Mary Louise Meyers;
three grandchildren, Gretchen, wife of Sean Sargen, Elizabeth
Kloidt, and William L. Meyers, III; and a sister, Elsie Nace, all of
Columbia. He was preceded in death by brothers, Karl and Frank
Kloidt; and sisters, Emma Sorg, Marie Rahn, Rose Gable and Carola
Thompson.
