Plans to create thousands of extra NHS dental places at three new
East Riding practices have moved a step forward.
As exclusively revealed in the Mail in December, the new
practices in Market Weighton, Snaith and Withernsea will provide
treatment for up to 15,000 NHS patients and are expected to begin
providing services from autumn.
Now, the Primary Care Trust (PCT) has identified three
contractors to deliver the new services.
Genix Healthcare will provide the new dental services for Market
Weighton, Snaith Dental Care will provide services for Snaith and
Mohammed Shahid Akhtar will operate the new practice in Withernsea.
