Swiss Valley Farms Co., a four-state cooperative owned and
controlled by dairy producers, announced Monday it has sold its
Dubuque milk bottling plant to Prairie Farms. The price was not
disclosed, and the sale was effective Monday.
Swiss Valley Farms will maintain its producers, standards and
labeling. The 200 employees at the Dubuque plant all have been
retained by Prairie Farms.
The Dubuque plant will become part of a larger network of
