Pizza Hut's first quarter of sales growth in almost four years
was the highlight of Restaurant Brands' quarterly sales update.
The pizza chain posted sales of $15.52 million for the 12 weeks
ended May 25 - up 2.4 per cent on the same quarter last year. Same-
store sales rose by 5.2 per cent.
The growth came after 15 consecutive quarters of declining sales,
but it was not clear if Pizza Hut had actually returned to
profitability.
