Article: Hop, skip and a jump - Kangaroo Island

This column is a continuation of my trip to Australia in April.

This was the part of the trip I was most excited about - Kangaroo Island.

I'm an animal person and love seeing animals in their natural environment. I had read an article several years ago about the animals of Kangaroo Island and knew I had to go. Kangaroo Island is Australia's third-largest island (after Tasmania and Melville Island) with a population of around 4,200 inhabitants. The island is 92 miles long and 35 miles wide with beautiful beaches and an abundance of wildlife.
