Article: Jeff Wyler Collision Center has gone 'green'

The Jeff Wyler Collision Center, a key part of the Jeff Wyler automotive family in Springfield, has taken a proactive stand in protecting the environment by going "green" with its paint- finishing system.

The collision center has switched to a waterborne basecoat from a conventional solvent-based system.

"As a business leader in the community, we understand our responsibilities and have to set a high standard for our practices. We knew this was the right thing to do," said Chris Adams, body shop manager in Springfield. Wyler of Springfield was the first to make the switch and has been using the waterborne base coat since October 2008.
