Much to the delight of his hometown fans, Mike Longton outraced a stellar field to capture this ASA Northwest Late Model Tour's Better- All Auto Sales 125 Saturday night at Yakima Speedway.

Longton, who set the tone for the evening by posting the fast lap of 18.887 seconds in qualifying, won his second straight tour race.

The Moxee driver sat back in the pack for most of the race, finally taking the lead on lap 88. Gary Lewis reclaimed the lead after a restart following a yellow flag on lap 104, but Longton pushed back in front for good on lap 111.
