Campaigners of a "forgotten" estate in Bristol are hoping their
fight for a much-needed community centre will be a tribute to the
man who "put his heart into the community".
Until his tragic death in a car crash in March this year, Tony
Lewis was chairman of Manor Farm Action Group (MAG) and fought
tirelessly to improve the facilities in the area. Now his former
partner Kay Armstrong, 49, who lives on Rodbourne Road, has vowed to
take up the fight to create a community centre in his honour.
For the past five years MAG have been fighting for better
facilities for the area, which is between Henleaze and Horfield.
