Article: An excuse worthy of framing President writes note on behalf of schoolgirl

Green Bay -- When John Corpus, who works for Bellin Health in Green Bay, got a chance to ask President Barack Obama a question Thursday, he started out saying he was with his 10-year-old daughter who was missing school to be there.

"Do you need me to write a note?" Obama responded, drawing laughs from the crowd at Green Bay Southwest High School.

Corpus said, "I'll take you up on that actually, Mr. President."

"What's her name?" Obama asked.

Apparently misunderstanding, Corpus responded with his name, and began asking his question.

The president interrupted him: "I'm serious. What's your daughter's name?"

Corpus said, "Her name is Kennedy."

"Kennedy. All right, that's a cool name," Obama ...
