Article: Parents rate Derby city council's disabled children care as second best in country

Disabled children living in Derby receive some of the best care and support in the country, according to a survey.

The Department for Children, Families and Schools carried out the study with parents whose children were cared for by authorities across the country, including Derby City Council.

Parents were asked how good they thought the quality of services such as healthcare, social care and education had been.

The council's children and young people's services was given an overall rating of 64 out of 100 in the survey.
