WITH GRANGE'S defence of the Scottish National Cricket
Premiership title stuttering after consecutive defeats, one player
who has provided a silver lining has urged his team-mates not to
panic.
Stuart Chalmers has settled in so well at Raeburn Place following
his winter move from Penicuik that his 14 wickets from six matches
are unsurpassed in the competition so far.
Not bad for a Scotland A all-rounder, who regards himself as a
"batsman who bowls".
There was further encouragement from Chalmers, who has some
insight into tomorrow's visitors West - the current leaders.
He said: "I faced West a couple of times in Division One last
