Article: Rundlett principal leaving after 8 years ; He's departing for Merrimack Valley

The principal of Rundlett Middle School is resigning to work part time at Merrimack Valley High School.

George Rogers will leave June 30 after eight years at Rundlett, where he revamped class scheduling with a shift to the trimester system. He will work with former colleagues as an associate principal at Merrimack Valley; he was principal of Merrimack Valley Middle School before moving to Rundlett.

"I have been contemplating retiring for a year or so now," Rogers said yesterday. "I'm just looking for a chance to do something different."
