JENSON BUTTON today shrugged off the looming world championship
challenge of British Grand Prix winner Sebastian Vettel but Red Bull
believe they have got what it takes to win the title.
Button, who was sixth at Silverstone, over 46 seconds behind
Vettel, says unseasonable cool temperatures meant the tyres on Brawn
GP car never got hot enough to match the grip provided by those
fitted to the young German's car. "Bloody British weather," he
joked.
Button believes warmer conditions expected for the German Grand
Prix in three weeks will restore much of the performance advantage
that enabled him to win six of the opening seven rounds. He said:
