Belva M. Shuman, 80, longtime resident of East Petersburg passed
away on June 20, 2009 at the Masonic Villages of Elizabethtown. She
was the wife of the late Daniel E. Shuman to whom she was married
for 43 years until his death in 1990.
Belva was a 1946 graduate of Manheim Central High School. During
her career, she worked for the Lancaster Farm Bureau and later
retired from Moore Business Forms in 1984. She was a life-long
member of Trinity Evangelical Church of Manheim and enjoyed working
in her flower garden. She also enjoyed the company of her cats and
spending "game day" with her sisters.
Born May 1, 1929 in Manheim, she was the daughter of the late
Charles and Belva Royer Knier.
