Edgbaston's Cannon Hill Park will once again transform into a
foodie paradise this month when the annual Taste of Birmingham
festival comes to town from July 9 to 12.
F ollowing Birmingham's recent success in the Michelin guide,
this year's food and drink extravaganza will be a truly Brummie
affair, with the region's top chefs, restaurants and producers
weaving their culinary magic to tantalise tastebuds and showcase
exactly what the Midlands has to offer.
Now in its fourth year, 2009 sees the Taste of Birmingham take on
a truly local feel.
Marketing Birmingham has taken ownership of the four day event -
the first time a UK 'Taste' city has taken on the franchise.
