Devon have restored Plymouth College player James Burke to their
side for the Western Division clash with Dorset starting at Torquay
tomorrow.
All-rounder Burke missed the Minor Counties Championship opener
against Berkshire at Newbury two weeks ago due to exam commitments,
and was overlooked for the cup game away to Staffordshire last
Sunday.
Devon skipper Bob Dawson sees dual-registered Burke as a clear-
cut selection for three-day cricket and has had no hesitation
installing him in the side.
"James is a batsman with the temperament and application to score
a century in three-day cricket, and brings a bowling option to the
team as well," said Dawson.
