A transport leaflet which has proved popular in the past is to be
re-issued in time for the tourist rush this summer.
Summer Getaway 2009 which has a print run of 450,000, is produced
by the Highways Agency in partnership with South West Tourism, and
offers advice about the likely traffic hot spots and peak travel
times across the Westcountry.
It is designed to help road users planning their journeys to
avoid congested areas, and includes details of 36 tourist
attractions in the region.
Malcolm Roberts, Highways Agency area performance manager, said
he was delighted that the leaflet had proved so popular and said he
hoped that visitors would continue to find it useful in planning
their route ...
