Devon's bowlers did a good job preventing Dorset piling up too
many runs on the opening day of the Minor Counties Championship game
at Torquay.
Dorset were all out for 320 in the last of their 90 overs with
Nick Park making a top score of 118.
Devon had to bat out the final 26 overs and were 75 for one at
the close.
James Burke was 35 not out and Dan Boswer unbeaten on 29. The man
out was Anthony Griffiths, who was bowled by Steffan Jones for five.
There were times when it looked ominous for Devon - like when
Adam Dibble and Burke were dispatched to the boundary time after
time.
Dorset opener Glyn Tregus hit Dibble for three in a row and
