Curvin W. Hengst, 85, of Mountville, passed away Thursday, June
25, 2009 at Brereton Manor. He was the husband of Jane B. Starr
Hengst with whom he celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on
November 9, 2008. He was born in Lancaster, son of the late Curvin
N. and Luella Adams Hengst. He was a plumber having worked for Harry
Ressler and Roy Ressler, both of Mountville and having retired from
Farfield, Rothsville. A member of Trinity Reformed United Church of
Christ; a veteran of the US Navy serving during WWII; former member
of the Mountville Lions Club and enjoyed woodworking.
