Students from 24 schools have battled it out in the Devon and
Cornwall School Challenge at HMS Raleigh, the Royal Navy training
establishment in Torpoint.
Teams of 10 youngsters from schools including Lipson Community
College, Torpoint Community College and Saltash.net Community School
took part in a series of seven challenges aimed at giving them a
taste of life in the armed forces.
The activities included paintball, an obstacle course,
camouflage and concealment, a water control task and a command task
