I'm trying to find the name of a song sung by Louie Prima. I don't know the name, but know the first couple of lines:

"Across the alley from the Alamo/Lived a pinto pony and a Navajo."

The song you're looking for is "Across the Alley from the Alamo," written by Joe Greene.

I couldn't find any indication that Louis Prima recorded it. The most successful recording, by far, was by the Mills Brothers, who hit No. 7 with it in 1947.
