Article: Police seek suspect in attack on gas station clerk

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO -- Police are looking for a man who attacked a gas station clerk Friday morning while trying to steal an armful of cigarette packs.

The assault took place about 9 a.m. in the 200 block of South Spruce Avenue when the 42-year-old clerk, who was alone in the gas station, briefly went into a back room, according to South San Francisco police.
