Harenda, Blanche U.
(Nee Serwatka) 88 years young. Born July 31, 1920, to Joseph and
Rosalie Serwatka (nee Zabel). Blanche worked at a Defense Plant
during WWII. She was a former employee of Goldman's Department
Store. Blanche was united in marriage to Raymond L. Harenda on June
2, 1941, at St. Hyacinth Church. Blanche gave birth to one son,
Michael Christopher Harenda. Both of whom preceded her in death.
Blanche was one of ten children, John, Joseph, Anthony Serwatka,
Alice (Joe) Kujawski, Ann (Casey) Pisarek, Leo (Eunice) Serwatka,
Sophie (Hank) Kupsik, Helen (Mel) Warden and Frank Serwatka. With
the exception of Hank, all the others preceded her in death. Blanche
