Article: Touch of Life: ; The saga of the 'other' St. Albans

Served as usher in church a couple of Sundays ago. A few minutes before Worship Service, two good friends, Otto and Dottie Drescher, entered.

After the usual smile and greetings, I noticed Otto had a newspaper in his hand. Immediately, I thought, "Otto has a complaint about something I wrote." I had him all wrong.

He handed me this 18-page newspaper and said, "I've had it for sometime and kept forgetting to bring it to you." It was dated Oct. 7, 2008.

I looked further and realized it was a St. Albans newspaper. I thought, "Where have I been? I didn't know St. Albans had a newspaper."

Otto smiled as I read, and then I realized this "Messenger" is edited in St. Albans but not our St. Albans. ...
