SUSPECT IN DUPLEX RAMMING ARRAIGNED: Brandon Martel Clark, 19, of
Pittsburg was arraigned Wednesday on 13 felony counts of attempted
murder, assault with a deadly weapon, intent to cause great bodily
injury, vandalism and fleeing the scene stemming from a Monday night
incident in which he is accused of driving his car into a Castro
Valley duplex, injuring six people.
Police say Clark intentionally rammed the building after his
boyfriend who lives there refused to return an expensive cell phone
and diamond ring Clark had given him as gifts. Among those injured
was a 20-year-old woman whose neck was broken when she grabbed her
18-month-old son out of the car's path and took the brunt ...
