Royal Navy helicopter pilots, ground staff and Royal Marines who
have served in Afghanistan received their campaign medals from the
Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall.
The servicemen and women from the Commando Helicopter Force
(CHF), based at RNAS Yeovilton in Somerset, were presented with
their military honours at Clarence House.
All three of the CHF's front-line squadrons - Sea King
helicopters from 845 and 846 Naval Air Squadrons (NAS) and Lynx
helicopters from 847 NAS - have been deployed in the Middle East
country during recent years.
