A local car dealer's federal lawsuit against Chrysler remains
stayed by the automaker's bankruptcy and resolution of his million-
dollar case could be several years away.
In the lawsuit filed late last year, Webster Chrysler Jeep Inc.
and its owner, Randy Henderson, accused Chrysler of violating its
franchise agreements and using illegal tactics in an attempt to
close the franchise and give its territory to another, non-minority
dealer.
Henderson's business was the only Chrysler Jeep dealership in New
York State owned by an African-American, and the only African-
American-owned franchise in the Northeast Business Center for
