FONTANA - The Mary Vagle Museum and Nature Center is inviting the
public to free, family-friendly hikes into Jurupa Hills.
Offered on the first Saturday of the month, the "Discovery Hikes"
series is a tour through local surroundings led by one of the
center's naturalists.
Hikers will get a chance to see hawks, rabbits, quail and one of
the areas oldest lemonade berry trees, said Johnny Gomez, a
naturalist with the center.
