A more direct bus route from Exwick to the city centre via St
David's and Exeter College would be of great benefit.
Even though the road junction at Exwick, leading to St David's,
would require improvement, the railway crossing at St David's often
presents less of a problem than those experienced on the E and F bus
routes.
Hold-ups at the railway crossing, though, vary enormously and
will not be solved until an additional bridge is installed.
Under present conditions a regular timetabled service using the
railway crossing would, at times, be inoperable unless there was an
acceptance that buses would occasionally lose part of a journey.
