Article: Winchcombe school review of year

Pupils at Winchcombe School were praised for their achievements but told not to rest on their laurels at the school's review of the year.

More than 70 of the pupils from years Seven to 10 were rewarded for their hard work and good attitude at an evening attended by friends and parents.

The guest of honour, John O'Callaghan from the National College of School Leaders, said: "Wherever you are you can always improve.

"I work with a lot of successful and high performing people and teams and organisations.

"They all control their self doubt and they all come out of their comfort zones to improve.

"Well done to you all, but let this be the starting point for what you do next."
