Cedarburg -- Saying it offers no security for a permanent boundary, the Cedarburg Town Board has rejected a city border agreement offer and has given permission to Town Administrator Jim Culotta to negotiate with other communities on providing services to town residents.

"From the very beginning, and throughout the course of our negotiations with the city, we have stated that any boundary agreement needed to include a permanent boundary within the Five Corners area," Town Chairman David Valentine said in a news release Thursday.
