Article: No 'full, fair hearing' on Cape Wind

VONNE ABRAHAM deserves some credit for mostly avoiding the low road in her June 21 column on Cape Wind ("Time to end the blustering," Metro). But no one with all the facts could claim that this project has received a "full and fair hearing."

State agencies have refused to look at the 25-square-mile development's breadth of impacts. They have limited their review to only the transmission cable portion of the project, which raises only the less controversial questions and avoids the tough issues. They then cite these limited proceedings to concoct the illusion of meaningful review.
