Article: Clinic looking for young people for Fit Youth program

WOOSTER -- With childhood obesity on the rise, the Cleveland Clinic Wooster is looking for children between the ages of 7 and 11 to participate in a new program: Fit Youth.

Developed by Dr. Eileen Kennedy, a pediatric psychologist with the Cleveland Clinic in Independence, the 12-week program will bring together a pediatrician, psychologist, dietitian and exercise physiologist to work with the children and their families.

The program will begin in September, and children and their parents will meet for 90 minutes each week.
