Writing a column is not easy. Many people know that I fret for days contemplating what to write.

Not this week. I heard from many business owners about companies that are doing well and helping to move the regional economy forward.

Take for example InnoMark Communications, which creates visual merchandising displays from inception to distribution. They create, among other things, the displays you see at a grocery store -- from concept to completion.
