Article: Strong run sees Voyce clinch multisport win

Conditions didn't look too promising at first glance, but yesterday was perfect for racing as 35 multisport and duathlon enthusiasts took on the annual Mid- winter Multisport Triathlon at Rabbit Island.

The triathlon field was first away, with defending champion Andrew Martin setting the pace in the loop around Best Island, beaching his boat and setting off on the 22-kilometre mountainbike leg after 33min 50sec, with Daniel Busch just a few seconds behind. Coast to Coast runner-up Trevor Voyce was another 40sec adrift, with a clear gap to Chris James, Rachael Voyce, Nick Rolton and Kirstin
