Article: Go east for a historical good time

Western Pennsylvania is full of history, particularly from the 18th century, when the British forces clashed with Americans, and with the French and Indians. If you're a history buff and have a like-minded companion, you can take a beautiful road trip into the Westmoreland County countryside, and visit two such historical sites in a single day. In between these two visits, you can explore an adorable town square in Ligonier and enjoy shopping and food.
