Pittsburgh police are asking for the public's help in solving in the slaying of a Hill District teenager.

Malik Scott, 16, of Webster Avenue was found dead of a gunshot in the torso near the rear of the recreation building in Robert E. Williams Memorial Park when officers responded to a call of a shooting shortly before midnight Saturday.

Police found the remnants of fireworks near Scott's body and said it appeared there had been a large gathering in the park before the shooting.

By Sunday morning, the park located on one of the city's highest points was deserted. Trash ...
