NORMAL - In his first post-college job, Adam Clark finds himself
preaching to kids about the possibility of getting a degree.
"One of our main goals is to reach younger students," said Clark,
22, an Illinois Wesleyan University graduate and member of the
Illinois Student Assistance Corps.
The corps members, all fresh graduates, will be spread across
community college districts to share the blueprint of what path to
follow and how to afford college.
Clark and Anna Ma, a University of Illinois graduate, will cover
the Heartland Community College district. They will visit high
schools and junior high schools and meet with community groups to
spread the message that college is a real ...
