Tie-dye is no longer only for hippies who never got over the '60s.

It is a trend we all can embrace. And it doesn't always mean neon swirls of color with a peace sign smack in the middle.

"We are seeing tie-dye all across the board," says Lindsay Taylor Huggins, senior market fashion editor for Self magazine. "It is really popular in denim right now, which is a fun way to wear it. You also can find lots of accessories such as tie-dye handbags, shoes and scarves, which can be an easy way for someone just starting the trend."
