The city of Long Beach is hosting an electronic waste and tire disposal roundup from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Environmental Services Bureau, 2929 E. Willow St.

For environmental reasons, it's illegal to dispose of old televisions, computers, monitors, printers, VCRs, cell phones, DVD players, microwave ovens and other electronics in regular trash. Those and similar ...
