The law firm of Steptoe & Johnson announced that the construction
has begun on its new home office off the Jerry Dove Exit of
Interstate 79 at White Oaks.
Susan Brewer, chief executive officer, said, "As Morgantown,
Fairmont and Clarksburg become a single economic area, we want to be
closer to the center of these developments. This relocation is a
reflection of our confidence in the market's recovery and a
commitment to the growing potential of north-central West Virginia."
The four-story, 78,000-square-foot building is expected to be
finished in October 2010.
