A relocated and enlarged Hercules Transit Center is expected to
open Aug. 3, several months behind schedule, city and transit
officials have announced.
The transit center, on Willow Avenue near the Interstate 80 off-
ramp, will accommodate WestCAT local buses as well as express buses
to the El Cerrito Del Norte BART station.
There will be 422 parking spaces. Daily parking permits will cost
$3 and include a round-trip ticket on the express bus to BART,
according to the Hercules city Web site. Monthly parking permits
also will be available.
